Try not to be overwhelmed, if I think anything is truly worthwhile it will be in bold. I’ve included lots of notes so you can get an idea as to whether it’s worth your time, depending on what you’re interested in. ![]() You can pick and choose more freely but there are quite a few titles that are relevant to the larger story that will add to the experience. This isn’t just an Avengers list it’s basically everything Hickman has done at Marvel. This one is more complicated than normal Hickman is known for drawing on a lot of other peoples work to create his own super-story. This list is more than just an Avengers reading order, it is designed to show you the links between his stories and other peoples. Before he wrote Avengers he did a few other notable stories for Marvel, and all of them feed into each other in some way. Jonathan Hickman is coming to the end of his run on Avengers, and about to start the summer event Secret Wars, which will impact pretty much every Marvel title in the universe. ![]()
